Do I need to be creative or have any previous wreath making experience? No previous experience is required. We will walk you through the making process and give you advice on creating your wreath. You will be guaranteed to walk away with a beautiful handmade wreath. We also include full written instructions and recommend you watching our You Tube tutorial before you attend the workshop. What do I get in my kit?Your kit contains all the foliage required to make your wreath, materials including wire, moss, decorations and a choice of ribbon provided for hanging or embellishment. If you have a favourite Christmas decoration that you wish to incorporate then feel free to bring anything extra along with you.
-
Do I need to bring any equipment? All equipment will be provided at our workshops, however we recommend bringing your own gardening gloves and an apron as it can get a little messy. Bring a “bag for life” shopping bag as your finished product is quite weighty and large! For kits at home, you will require a pair of secateurs or a sharp pair of scissors.
-
Can I bring a friend to a workshop? The ticket is for one person and one kit per person. We encourage you to invite friends and family to buy their tickets and join us, as our workshops are wonderful festive activities to do in the build up to Christmas.
-
Can I buy food and drink at the venue?Yes – all of our pub venues offer the chance to buy food and drink which you can enjoy before, during or after the workshop. Many of our Crafternoon'ers turn our workshops into a regular Christmas social event where they can catch up with friends and family whilst crafting.
-
Can I buy extra kits to give to friends who can’t attend the workshop?Absolutely. We sell our kits with full instructions so that those that cannot attend a workshop can make their wreath easily at home. Some of our regulars organise their own private workshop, buy our kits and gather their friends and family at their homes. Whatever works for you. Just email us at info@crafternoonhove.co.uk or use our online order form.
-
How do I care for my wreath?Spritz your wreath with water every couple of days. You can use an old spray cleaner bottle. Avoid direct sunlight and be aware that wreaths displayed internally at home or a business will have a shorter life span due to central heating.
-
What shall I do with my wreath once it is dead? You may unwire all the foliage, which is compostable.
-
What if I need to cancel after the cancellation period? If we can move you to an alternative workshop date we will however we can provide you with a full kit to make at home, free collection from our Hove address or a small additional postage fee.
